University of the Pacific’s Tigers Play At New Baseball Stadium
The University of the Pacific’s new $3 million state-of-the-art baseball stadium - Klein Family Field – gives the Pacific Tigers a home field advantage this year. The new baseball facility, located at the Pershing/Alpine Avenue corner of campus, features a modern playing field, a practice field and stands. The facility was constructed to attract top baseball talent, solidify the Tigers’ prestige within Division I, and enhance student life by making it easier for students to attend games. The Pacific Tigers previously played and practiced at Billy Hebert Field, which was shared with the Stockton Ports. With the Ports move to a new waterfront ballpark, Stockton will no longer be maintaining Billy Hebert Field at Division I standards. The Klein Family, synonymous with Stockton baseball, donated the initial $1.5 million to the new stadium that will enhance Pacific’s baseball program. Join the Tiger’s and University of Pacific mascot - Power Cat – for an exciting, hard-hitting baseball season! [Top]
